Therefore, buy a spacious carrier-cage. In it, the animal should be positioned so that when lying down, it can stretch out its paws. And in height, it should be a head higher when standing.
Put some bedding in the container that absorbs moisture well. If you are transporting in winter, it is advisable to insulate the cage by putting an additional blanket there. Be sure to take care of a water bottle inside the carrier.
To prevent your cat from rejecting the cage, give it time to get used to the container a few weeks before the trip.
To do this, open the door and spread a blanket in the container that she likes to sleep on. From time to time, put her favorite treats under it.
In advance, about a week, you should give sedatives. Immediately before the trip, three hours before, do not feed. Just give her something to drink. She, like a person, can get seasick on the road.
