Moscow launches vaccination of wild animals against rabies

In the suburban forests of Moscow, they will start giving vaccines to wild animals against rabies. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the press service of the capital's veterinary committee and its chairman, Alexei Sautkin.
It is noted that the Moscow veterinary service has already launched the distribution of the vaccine. In the spring, it will last until May 31.
It is also known that the vaccine will be administered in various administrative districts, with the exception of the Central and Northern ones.
According to the press service, the vaccine distribution is carried out in several stages: in summer, autumn and spring.
They also noted that the vaccine was created in the form of a briquette of edible bait and a capsule with the drug. 21 days after eating the vaccine, the animal develops immunity.
It is added that the drug is safe for both animals and birds.
