Reptile diseases: how to understand that a turtle is unwell - characteristic symptoms

The following signs indicate that a turtle is not feeling well:

- low mobility, loss of coordination and leaving the warming place;
- swelling, ulcers and other skin problems.
Most often, reptile owners encounter pneumonia and rickets.
In the first case, problems with breathing and coordination of movement are observed; the second disease is indicated by changes in the shell.
Vomiting and pale mucous membranes may indicate the presence of parasites, and peeling skin and eyelids may indicate a lack of vitamins, primarily a lack of vitamin A.
