The tourist season in Turkey this year was not a success.

Following the empty hotels, the country's restaurants have also become empty.

According to the Turkish publication Sabah , the number of visitors to Turkish resorts has fallen by almost 50%.

This catastrophic situation has led to hotels trying to fill available rooms by trying to sell them at exorbitant prices.

However, it was not possible to see the desired movement during the height of the tourist season.

Following the hotel business, the restaurant business also suffered. The publication notes that tables even in popular restaurants remain empty.

In order to somehow attract visitors, popular resorts cancel entrance fees and offer discounts of 10-20%. However, unlike hotels, establishments cannot reduce prices even more.

It is noted that luxury restaurants remain overcrowded, while budget and mid-priced establishments continue to lose customers.
