One of Russia's regions will introduce "salaries" for parents
The head of the Nizhny Novgorod region announced the introduction of “salaries” for parents in the region.
Gleb Nikitin stated that the new measure of financial support will come into effect in 2025.
The governor reported that the total amount that parents will receive for the birth of their first child will be 1 million rubles, RIA Novosti reports.
We are talking about maternity capital and regional supplements.
It was called "salary" for parents.
Its size will be 10 thousand rubles. This amount will be paid monthly until the child turns 3 years old.
If we are talking about the second and third child, the amount will be 20 thousand and 30 thousand rubles, respectively.
In all cases, payments will be made monthly for three years.
As for payments for the fourth child, in this case the parents will be given a one-time payment of 1 million rubles and they will be able to spend this amount immediately.
That is, the regional payment will be automatically added to the amount of federal maternity capital.
Nikitin clarified that the new measure will come into effect in the Nizhny Novgorod region from July 1 next year.
