Russians have started buying more two-room apartments in new buildings.
Since the beginning of the year, demand for two-room apartments has grown from 18% to 28%.
According to experts, at the same time, interest in one-room, multi-room apartments and studios has sharply decreased,Izvestia writes.
At the same time, demand for three-room apartments remained at the same level – 12%.
Experts believe that with the increase in the key rate, Russians will begin to invest money in housing more actively.
However, they will most likely buy small apartments that are affordable.
Therefore, the demand for compact housing at low prices, including two-room apartments, will continue to grow.
