Changes in the EAEU threaten the range of Russian marketplaces.

It is possible that some items will soon disappear from sale altogether.

RIA Novosti learned about this from several players in the Russian market.

As experts have clarified, the new documentation adopted in the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union will greatly complicate the process of importing certain goods into Russia.

It is noted that within the framework of this document, the process of separating goods purchased through foreign electronic trade into a separate category will be regulated.

In this regard, Wildberries intends to extend the same measures that are currently in effect for personal use goods to e-commerce products. That is, the threshold of 200 euros will apply to them.

At the same time, the import of certain categories of goods will become unavailable to Russians, since they will require additional permitting documentation, and the need to obtain it may fall on the shoulders of the buyer.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade intends to separate e-commerce goods into two categories in order to preserve equal rights for individuals carrying these categories of goods in their luggage and those who order them through e-commerce.
