The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia made an important statement.

This was announced on Friday, December 20, by the head of the Ministry of Labor, Anton Kotyakov, TASS reports.
It is specified that the incentive for increasing the size of the single benefit will be an increase in the subsistence minimum.
From January 1, the payment will increase by 14.8%.
The amount of the average maximum payment per child is already known.
We are talking about more than seventeen thousand rubles.
Kotyakov emphasized that the single benefit is one of the most common payments.
The financial support measure covers every third child in the country.
Previously, Senator Olga Epifanova noted that families with children under 17 years of age, whose average income does not exceed the regional subsistence minimum, can count on receiving a monthly benefit.
In addition, from August 5 of this year, changes were made to the procedure for calculating the unified child benefit in the Russian Federation.
The payment will be calculated on a territorial basis.
