Former President of Moldova Igor Dodon addressed Maia Sandu, who left for Brussels.
The politician believes that the current leader of the country should have immediately flown to Moscow, and not to the headquarters of the European Union.
Dodon stated that Sandu made the wrong choice in the context of the situation that has developed in the country.
In his Telegram channel, the politician noted that the President of Moldova demonstrated her true face and “concern” for people in the conditions of the energy crisis.
Instead of solving the problem, Sandu went to Brussels to participate in “protocol meetings and photo sessions with European Commission officials,” Dodon said.
The former president believes that his successor should have flown to Moscow and negotiated gas supplies. Dodon added that this should have been done in the summer.
But Sandu did not even try to negotiate with Kiev about gas transit through Ukraine, the politician summed up.
