Powdery mildew is a dangerous disease for vegetable crops, which is characterized by severe rotting of the crop.

Most often, the causative agent of powdery mildew affects crispy sweet cucumber fruits.

Agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about which cucumber varieties are most resistant to attacks by this fungus.

According to the expert, three unique options should be taken into account.

Variety "Competitor"

These cucumbers are not too demanding in care. They are sufficiently pollinated by bees, so they can be grown in open ground.

The yield of "Konkurent" is on average 7-8 kilograms per square meter.

Variety "Cloud F1"

The specified cucumber variety has an average ripening period for its fruits.

"Cloud F1" is best grown in greenhouses and hotbeds. Its yield is on average 7-7.4 kilograms per square meter.

Variety "Mazai F1"

These cucumbers are considered to be very climbing (they branch out to a length of 3.5-4.5 meters).

"Mazai F1" is an early-ripening variety. This means that its harvest can be collected already on the 45th day after the shoots have ripened. The crop is not afraid of rot and changeable weather.
