Autumn pleases us not only with the harvest, but also with the abundance of fallen leaves.

Some leave it where it fell, others prefer to clean it up right away.

Let's figure out what to do with fallen leaves in the fall.

How to Use Fallen Leaves

The first question to decide is whether to remove the leaves at all. To begin with, it depends on where the leaves are.

It is not worth leaving it on the lawn, but it is perfect for use as mulch under bushes or fruit trees.

The second question concerns what kind of foliage can be used for mulch. There are two conditions for it: the plants that have shed their leaves must be completely healthy, and the leaves themselves must be absolutely dry.

The third question concerns the use of foliage for composting. You can take foliage from any plant, except for those that contain a lot of tannins. Such crops include walnut, blueberry, sumac, lingonberry and other bushes and trees.
