Growing cucumbers in bags

Growing cucumbers in bags with soil is an excellent solution for owners of small plots where it is not possible to place everything they want.

Plus, if it starts to get cold, you can bring your plants in and keep them warm.

And this is not to mention the fact that cucumbers will practically no longer need weeding and additional care.

To plant cucumbers, you will need:

  • a thick bag with a capacity of 20 to 60 liters (ideally the packaging from purchased soil);
  • lawn grass;
  • nutrient soil (soil + humus or compost).

The bag is filled halfway with lawn grass, which will warm the plant, and then soil is added in a 1:1 ratio with humus or compost.

You will also need to make drainage holes. These improvised pots made from bags can last up to three years.
