But there are quite effective methods of fighting these gastropods. It is enough to know the weak points of this enemy to protect the dacha.
Their weakness is that they have a very delicate abdomen. This feature does not allow them to crawl everywhere.
If an obstacle in the form of a rough surface appears on the way to vegetables or flowers, they will not be able to reach their desired goal.
Eggshells can be used as such a barrier. It is enough to crush them and scatter them in a generous layer around the garden bed or flower bed.
Another option is needles (spruce or pine). Instead of dry needles, you can use spruce branches.
Coarse sand will cause maximum discomfort to the mollusks. Wood sawdust will do the same.
