In 2025, we sow peppers and eggplants for seedlings strictly on these days
There are enough favorable dates, everything depends only on the characteristics of the variety and the climate of the region.
In central Russia, peppers and eggplants, which are considered heat-loving crops, are sown from the end of February to mid-March.
Most often, 70–80 days are counted before transplanting into a greenhouse or open ground.
In January, only those summer residents who are confident that the April weather will not present any surprises will sow.
Favorable days for sowing peppers and eggplants in 2025 are in February, March and even April.
In the last month of winter these are numbers from 1 to 5, from 8 to 15 and from 18 to 24.
As for March, there are four successful periods plus a “reserve” day.
Here are the favorable dates for sowing seedlings: 1-4, 8-13, 17-24, 26-27 and 31.
If you plan to sow seeds for seedlings in April, it is best to do this on the 1st, 4th–10th, 13th–20th, 23rd–25th, and 28th.
It is also worth remembering that the planting material of some varieties, including hot ones, takes a long time to germinate.
Therefore, it is recommended to soak the seeds before sowing.
