The first feeding of strawberries determines a lot, so experienced gardeners never skip it.
To prepare a nutrient composition for plants, you don’t need to go broke or resort to clever schemes.
Expert of the online publication "TUT NOVOSTI", agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what to feed strawberries with in the spring.
Recipe for top dressing
Prepare the nutrient solution in 10 liters of water. Take 3 liters of water and put it on the fire.
Add ½ teaspoon of boric acid and 3 g of potassium permanganate to the hot liquid. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
Pour these 3 liters into a bucket with the rest of the water. Add 15 drops of iodine and 3 tablespoons of ammonia.
Mix the liquid thoroughly again, and you can water the plants at the roots.
But before adding fertilizer, the soil in the garden bed must be moistened with ordinary water.
Before using almost any liquid fertilizer, plants need to be watered with plain water. This way, the product works more effectively and there is no risk of damage to the roots.
