Organic + mineral fertilizers - and the soil will be fluffy in spring: a note for summer residents
There is a simple way to ensure that in the spring the soil is loose, fertile and completely ready for planting new plants.
To do this, you need to add a combination of organic and mineral fertilizers to it before winter.
How to prepare the soil for wintering
The first thing to do is to add organic matter to the garden, such as manure, humus, compost or peat.
Natural fertilizer must be added to the soil after the harvest has been completed, the weeds have been pulled out, and all organic waste has been removed from the surface of the beds.
For 1 square meter you need to prepare approximately 6-8 kilograms of organic matter and dig it up together with the addition of fertilizer.
The second step is to apply mineral fertilizers. Supraphosphate increases the fertility of the plot if you apply 25-30 grams of fertilizer per square meter of the plot.
To saturate the soil with potassium, magnesium and sulfur, potassium magnesium sulfate is used at a rate of 20 grams per square meter of land. It is also suitable for caring for fruit trees.
