Why do cucumber ovaries dry up in a greenhouse?

So, if you have noticed problems with the future harvest, the drying out of the ovaries was probably caused by one of the reasons that we will list below.

Firstly, poor quality seeds. The culprit may be parthenocarpic hybrids, which produce male flowers instead of female ones. Consequently, you won't get a harvest from them.

Secondly, too long cucumber lash also becomes the reason for drying of flowers. In this case it is worth removing all leaves under which ovaries have fallen, and stepsons.

Thirdly, cucumbers do not tolerate cold water for irrigation. Its temperature should not be lower than 25 degrees Celsius.

Fourthly, cucumbers need to be grown at a temperature of 23 to 26 degrees, since exceeding the temperature regime also leads to the death of the ovaries.
