Growing peppers is associated with certain difficulties.

And it often happens that the leaves of plants in the greenhouse begin to wither.

Together with the expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, scientist agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, we will figure out the reason for this phenomenon.

Why do pepper leaves wilt in a greenhouse?

The first reason why this happens is that the air temperature is too high and dry. It is quite easy to combat this phenomenon: you need to place containers with water around the perimeter of the greenhouse and air it from time to time.

The second reason is watering errors. In summer, especially in the heat, peppers need to be watered regularly to prevent both a lack and an excess of moisture.

Pepper may also lack nutrients, so in summer the plant needs to be fed before fruiting begins. The best option would be 10 g of ammonium nitrate, 25 g of superphosphate and 25 g of potassium sulfate diluted in 10 liters of water.
