An expert of the online publication “TUT NOVOSTI”, agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh advises using perlite and vermiculite.
The first component retains moisture 3-4 times more than its own weight. It has excellent heat-protective properties.
But before using, it is necessary to moisten the perlite with water to avoid inhaling dust.
Vermiculite in the soil also plays an important role. It will absorb a lot of moisture and then, together with valuable microelements, will gradually give it to the plants.
With such soil, the roots develop better. The plants become more resistant to stress. As a result, the seedlings are pleasing to the eye.
