Abkhazia found money to pay salaries for November
The Abkhazian authorities have found funds to pay the salaries of public sector employees for last month.
From December 9 to 11, the republic’s leadership allocated funds for the relevant purposes.
We are talking about 230 million rubles, RIA Novosti reports.
The information was confirmed by the country's acting Minister of Finance, Vladimir Delba.
The first in line are employees of the Ministry of Defense, law enforcement agencies, tax officials, employees of the migration and customs services.
Delba specified that, to date, funding in the amount of 81 million rubles has been opened for the payment of salaries to workers in healthcare, education and culture at the republican level from district budgets.
The day before, it became known that Abkhazia had asked Russia to resume social payments.
The government of the republic sent a corresponding request to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Moscow has not yet responded.
