Activists who wanted to help a pensioner die were detained in France
The Western news agency Parisien reported that civil activists were detained in France.

Parisien emphasizes that the activists gave the woman the appropriate pills, which made her vomit.
The newspaper writes: “The pensioner’s son contacted the police, where he said that unknown persons had tried to kill his mother.”
An unusual case
The detainees are an 81-year-old man and woman, who are active members of the Ultime liberte association.
The organization is primarily known for its advocacy of voluntary euthanasia and its efforts to promote it.
Local law enforcement officers accuse the activists of illegally transferring pharmaceutical drugs to third parties.
In addition, those arrested were found to be calling for the “use of drugs intended to end life.”
