Boeing pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud.
The company agreed to pay at least $243.6 million after violating the settlement with the U.S. Justice Department.
The Justice Department said the planemaker allowed potentially dangerous work to take place at its factories, Reuters reports.
In early July, Boeing agreed to plead guilty to conspiring to defraud the Federal Aviation Administration.
It comes after the government said the planemaker misrepresented software for the 737 MAX.
Boeing confirmed Wednesday that it had filed a detailed plea agreement with the Justice Department.
The Company intends to continue to work transparently with regulators to further strengthen its safety and quality programs.
Earlier, the US Department of Justice suspected Boeing of fraud due to the violation of a deferred prosecution agreement after two plane crashes.
