An attempt to export medals to Estonia was prevented at the Kingisepp customs office. Details were reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the North-West Customs Administration (NWCA).
An unpleasant incident occurred in Ivangorod.
It is noted that the Russian citizen arrived at the customs post of the Ivangorod International Automobile Checkpoint. During the inspection of his luggage, a red tablet with medals from the Soviet era was found on him.
According to the press service, there were 10 medals. Their total weight was 500 grams. The medals included Soviet labor awards.
It was also noted that experts conducted an examination, which showed that the medals are cultural values.
It is added that the Russian will face a fine and confiscation of his medals.
