"Go to Hell!": Trump reminds Biden of commutation of criminal sentences in Christmas greeting
The US President-elect has lashed out at outgoing President Joe Biden.
The politician did not approve of the latter's decision to soften the pardon issued to death row inmates.
Donald Trump voiced his opinion about the actions of his predecessor on the social network Truth Social.
The case concerns 40 prisoners who had previously been sentenced to death by American courts. Thanks to presidential pardons, 37 of them had their death sentences commuted to life imprisonment without parole.
Trump was outraged by the fact that brutal murderers and rapists were given a second chance. According to the politician, they do not deserve a pardon.
Instead of wishing the pardoned men a Merry Christmas, Trump wished them hell.
In his congratulations, the politician also addressed the opposition Democratic Party, whose representatives, without mincing words, he called “crazy radical left” politicians.
