Restaurant Diners Find Enormous Pearl During Lunch
The woman not only had a delicious lunch, but also accidentally found a valuable mineraloid.
The incident happened to a resident of the American state of North Carolina.
A woman named Freda Bryant and her daughter went into a seafood restaurant, the Daily Mail reports. They ordered oysters.
During the meal, the American woman felt something hard. “I’m eating and suddenly I say, ‘Oh, my tooth fell out,’” the woman shared.
But it turned out that the dentist's help was not needed. It was not a tooth, but a massive white pearl that was in one of the shells.
The restaurant noted that such a find is very rare. The chance of finding such a pearl is estimated at about 1 in 10,000.
The American woman is thinking about selling this pearl. Prices for this "gift of nature" start at $100 (about 10,000 rubles).
