The UN is alarmed by the situation that was recorded in Britain.
The organisation has received reports that children from ethnic minorities may be stripped naked during searches.
RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the report of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The report raises concerns about the methods used by British police against ethnic minorities.
In particular, law enforcement officers conduct searches of citizens, and often children are subjected to violence. It gets to the point where children from ethnic minorities are stripped naked.
And the British police are not limited to this. As the UN found out, law enforcement officers have also been repeatedly seen using deadly force.
In addition, they fail to report on assistance to victims' families, especially those from ethnic minorities.
The UN called for attention not to be given to what is happening and for those responsible for the use of violence to be punished.
