Salome Zurabishvili stated that she does not intend to leave the Presidential Palace.

The head of state made this statement during an address to the people, TASS reports, citing a live broadcast on Georgian television.

Elections in Georgia

Let us recall that the presidential elections in Georgia will be held on December 14, and the inauguration of the head of state who will be elected during them is scheduled for December 29.

At the same time, Zurabishvili, together with the opposition, does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections held in the country on October 26, 2024.

The opposition party Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia, which opposes European integration, won the parliamentary elections.
