18 rescuers injured while extinguishing fire in Proletarsk
Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev reported that 18 rescuers were seriously injured in a fire in Proletarsk.
It is reported that rescue services personnel were extinguishing the fire.
On his official Telegram channel, Golubev wrote: “An additional team of doctors was sent to us to help the victims.”
It is emphasized that today in Proletarsk there is a burning of industrial warehouses, inside which diesel fuel is stored.
Critical situation
As the district administration explained, a state of emergency is currently in effect in the city.
It was also emphasized that about four victims were taken to the central district hospital.
It is indicated that the wounded are in moderate condition; they received extensive burns.
Local authorities explained that water was delivered to the site of the fire and rescuers were provided with food.
