A worker preparing heating mains for winter was shot dead in Lipetsk
In Lipetsk, a man who was preparing heating mains for the coming winter was murdered.
The reason why the worker was shot with an air gun is being established.
The incident became known from a publication on a Telegram channel, which was posted by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Lipetsk Region.
As the investigation revealed, the victim was a 40-year-old worker who was carrying out repair work on Industrialnaya Street in Lipetsk.
Forensic experts found out that the murder took place on July 16. Presumably, the man's death was caused by a shot to the stomach fired from an air gun.
Law enforcement officers studied the footage from street cameras and found out that the shot was fired by a 43-year-old local resident. The motives for the crime remain unknown.
A search was conducted at the suspect's home, where law enforcement officers found the alleged murder weapon. Additional examinations have been ordered to clarify this fact.
The investigation is deciding whether to place the murder suspect into custody.
