An elusive animal abuser has been operating in the Chelyabinsk region for six months now
The small Chelyabinsk town of Asha suffers from the activities of a sadist who maims animals.
For six months now, it has not been possible to establish the identity of the animal abuser.
RIA Novosti reports this with reference to information provided by volunteers and concerned citizens.
Until recently, the small town was considered a cat town, since animals are loved and fed in every yard. Ashin residents take care of homeless animals, vaccinate and sterilize them.
However, for six months now, crippled, dying animals have been found in yards that even veterinarians cannot help.
It is noted that traces of sexual violence were found on some of the bodies.
Concerned citizens, who fear that the animal abuser will sooner or later switch to humans, have launched their own investigation. According to volunteers, neither the police nor the city mayor were able to influence the situation.
According to Ashinsky residents, the animal abuser has already killed 50 animals, and new victims are found every day. A cash reward has been offered for information about the criminal.
