Bulldozer driver dies after it moves on its own in Buryatia
An accident involving a bulldozer occurred in Ulan-Ude.
The driver of a special equipment was hit by a heavy-duty vehicle and died.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Buryatia reported this on its Telegram channel.
According to the department, the incident in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Ulan-Ude occurred on the morning of December 4. The victim's body was found on the territory of one of the city's enterprises.
As the investigation revealed, the cause of death was injuries typical of a heavy vehicle hitting a human body.
It is noted that the incident occurred when the driver was working his shift on the night of December 3-4. The worker was moving coal towards the boiler room.
The employees of the enterprise who came for the morning shift found his body in the tracks left by the tracks of a bulldozer. The machine itself was found further away: it had stopped, having met the wall of the production building.
This allowed us to assume that the bulldozer itself started moving and thereby crushed the driver who was in its path.
