Couple in love burglarized 11 dachas in Russian region
The activities of a criminal duo were stopped in the Vologda region.
A young man and his girlfriend robbed 11 summer cottages, the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported.
A guy born in 1999 and a girl born in 2002 met on a social network last summer.
After virtual communication, they met in Vologda and came up with a “million-dollar plan”: stealing expensive equipment and selling it on an ad site.
The garage in the village of Vytegra, which belongs to the young man, served as a warehouse for storing the stolen goods.
The lovers managed to rob eleven summer cottages. Their spoils included electric and petrol tools, gardening and construction equipment.
After the arrest, three motorcycles were also found in the garage, which had previously been reported missing by residents of Vologda.
The young man turned out to have a criminal record. The couple managed to cause damage amounting to 440 thousand rubles with their activities.
The girl was left free on bail, and the boy was taken into custody.
