Drunk teenagers damaged 166 tombstones in Kuzbass

An incident involving drunk teenagers occurred in Kuzbass.

While intoxicated, the minors engaged in vandalism.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kemerovo Region reported the incident on its official Telegram channel.

An administrative protocol has been drawn up against one of the hooligans' fathers for the fact that minors were intoxicated. The man could be fined up to 2,000 rubles.

Circumstances of the case

As the investigation established, the vandalism was committed by two teenagers, aged 13 and 15, who had come from Novokuznetsk to visit relatives in the village of Berezovo.

In this settlement there is a military cemetery, on the territory of which there are also graves of people who died during the special operation.

In total, the juvenile hooligans damaged about 166 tombstones at the local cemetery, knocking them to the ground. Crosses were also damaged.

The Investigative Committee is conducting a preliminary investigation and establishing the causes of the incident. According to the suspects, they were intoxicated when they damaged the tombstones.
