Former pupils of a special school in Yekaterinburg could be given ten years in prison
The state prosecution presented the court with a request according to which three former pupils of special school No. 124 in Yekaterinburg must serve their sentences in a penal colony for ten years.
The individuals in question are accused of committing violence against other children.
The lawyer for one of the minor victims, Olesya Bortnikova, noted: “We requested 10 years of imprisonment for each culprit,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
As the lawyer pointed out, this term is the maximum punishment.
An outrageous crime
It is emphasized that the defendants are accused of committing 12 episodes of violent acts.
The defendants in the criminal case, including those who are minors, have stated that they deny their guilt.
According to Bortnikova, if the guilt is confirmed, the juvenile offenders will be sent to serve their sentences in a correctional colony.
The decision on this case will be announced on Tuesday by the Chkalovsky District Court of Yekaterinburg.
