Former Vice President of YUKOS EP Found Dead in Moscow
Former vice-president of the YUKOS company Mikhail Rogachev died suddenly in Moscow.
His body was found with no signs of life near his house on Protopovsky Lane.
According to preliminary data, Rogachev may have intentionally committed suicide, RIA Novosti writes.
A note was found on him which mentioned that he was tired from illness.
According to one version, the deceased suffered from cancer.
At the time of his death, Mikhail Rogachev was 64 years old.
From 1998 to 1999, Rogachev was the general director of the engineering center of NK YUKOS.
Later he held the position of Vice President of EKOS EP.
Rogachev also headed the customer service for corporate management systems at YUKOS-Moscow and the Research and Development Center at NK YUKOS.
From 2011 to 2015, he headed the Russian Foundation for Technological Development.
Law enforcement agencies have now begun an investigation to determine the cause of death.
