As a result of a tragic accident in the Omsk region, four people died.
The accident occurred on the evening of October 5 at the 129th kilometer of the Omsk-Muromtsevo-Sedelnikovo highway.
According to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, a Lada Priora passenger car collided with an elk. This was reported by RIA Novosti .
After this, the driver lost control, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Toyota Yaris.
The Toyota was carrying a 42-year-old woman, her 38-year-old husband and her 6-year-old son. The man died at the scene of the accident.
The Lada was carrying construction workers from Azerbaijan. The accident killed a 30-year-old driver and two passengers, aged 39 and 35.
Four people, including a 6-year-old child, were injured and taken to hospital.
The prosecutor of the Nizhneomsky district, Denis Semenov, went to the scene of the incident.
A criminal case has been opened under the article “Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles resulting in the death of a person.”
Investigators are continuing their investigation to determine all the causes of the incident.
