In Primorsky Krai, the prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation following an incident involving a 10-year-old boy who suffered burns.
The regional prosecutor's office's Telegram channel says that the boy was pushed into the fire by a teenager.
The parents of the injured child filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies.
Child burn incident
The incident occurred on November 17 in the Nadezhdinsky District of Primorsky Krai.
According to the schoolboy, he was walking past the stadium when he saw older children burning grass.
The boy wanted to reprimand them, but one of the teenagers splashed lighter fluid on him and then pushed him into the fire.
As a result of the incident, the child received a burn on his shin.
The victim's parents contacted the police. The prosecutor's office began investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
In particular, it will be checked how flammable liquids ended up in the stadium area.
Based on the results of the inspection, an assessment will be made of the work of the agencies involved in the prevention of child neglect.
