Students from one of the schools in the Kotelniki urban district beat up another student during a conflict.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case after schoolgirls published footage of the beating.
The press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region reported this on its Telegram channel.
Investigators found that on December 9, 2024, the students behaved provocatively in the school toilet.
They beat the girl and filmed the incident on a mobile phone camera.
A criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code for hooligan actions by a group of persons.
An adult faces up to 7 years in prison under this article.
The victim is currently apparently in hospital.
