Krasnoyarsk resident sentenced to 13 years in prison for murdering girls
The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia reported that in Krasnoyarsk a man was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the murder of two teenage girls.
It is emphasized that the accused committed his crime 24 years ago.
Law enforcement officials explained: “The brutal murder took place in 2000,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
The victims were two sixteen-year-old girls who demanded that their friend (then a 19-year-old resident of the city of Kodinsk) repay them a debt.
The amount of the debt was 800 rubles.
Details of the murder
The minors' friend, not wanting to give up the money, attacked the victims, hitting them multiple times on the head.
After this, the criminal hid the bodies in a hole next to his garage and fled.
The defendant in the criminal case was detained by the police on March 24, 2023 in Krasnoyarsk. The man confessed to the crime and revealed the details of the crime.
The court sentenced the offender to serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony for 13 years.
