Man who shot at child arrested in St. Petersburg

At the end of July, a man shot an underage girl who was on a playground.
The child was taken to a medical facility as a result of a shot from an air pistol. The male suspect was detained.
A man has been remanded in custody in St. Petersburg for shooting a girl with a pistol. TASS reports the details, citing the city's joint press service.
The incident took place on Vera Slutskaya Street in St. Petersburg.
It is noted that by court order the man was remanded in custody.
“…The deadline for the measure is September 26,” the publication notes.
The investigation established that on July 25, the man shot the girl at least twice. The victim received a wound to the soft tissues of the chest.
