People's Artist of the USSR, prima ballerina of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater (GABT) of Russia passed away at the age of 90.

Marina Kondratieva was born on February 1, 1934 in Leningrad.
After graduating from the A. V. Lunacharsky State Institute of Theatre Arts in 1980, she worked at the Bolshoi Theatre and was involved in teaching.
At the Bolshoi Theatre she taught a women's class and worked as a tutor.
In 2013, Kondratieva became a member of the Artistic Council of the Bolshoi Theatre Ballet Company.
