A Robinson helicopter has disappeared in Yakutia. RIA Novosti reports details with reference to the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.
This incident occurred at night, 80 kilometers from the village of Chagda.
It is noted that the operation of an emergency beacon was recorded at the specified location.
According to the press service, there were several people on board the aircraft – one pilot and three passengers.
“…There were three passengers and one pilot on board,” the press service noted.
It was also noted that rescuers from the Yakutsk regional search and rescue base will be involved in searching for the helicopter.
The prosecutor's office added that an investigation into the missing helicopter is currently underway. The prosecutor's office monitors flight safety.
