Russian woman puts baby in bag and leaves it to die in washing machine
A Russian woman gave birth to a child in a bathhouse and then killed the baby.
The incident occurred in the village of Suleya in the Chelyabinsk region, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region reported on its Telegram channel.
On the night of November 4-5, a 32-year-old woman gave birth to a boy in a bathhouse located on her property.
After that, the mother took the baby and put it in a bag, and then shoved it into the washing machine, which was in the unheated dressing room. The newborn did not survive.
Soon the woman's condition deteriorated sharply. She went to the hospital, where doctors determined that the patient had recently given birth on her own.
This is how it was discovered that she had left her child to die in the washing machine.
The doctors called the police. Law enforcement officers detained the woman and interrogated her.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the incident. Investigators are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
It is also planned to conduct a number of forensic examinations.
