Suspicious objects found on locomotive wheels in Rostov region
A suspicious discovery made in the Rostov region has become known.
Here they found 10 unknown objects that were tied to the wheels of locomotives.
The incident was reported by the TASS news agency, citing information confirmed by the Transport Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the North Caucasus Federal District.
It is noted that a report of suspicious objects was received by the duty unit of the Salsky District police station. The discovery was made at the Salsk railway station.
It is specified that the railway workers knew nothing about the origin of the rectangular objects, since none of them installed them.
Law enforcement officers immediately arrived at the scene of the alleged incident and called in a bomb squad.
It was later discovered that the objects attached to the locomotive wheels were new type sensors. They were used for measurements and were tested on this locomotive.
