Taxi depot roof collapses in Omsk during snowfall
The consequences of the bad weather in Omsk have become known.
Due to the snowfall that broke out in the city, the roof of a taxi depot collapsed right onto parked cars.
RIA Novosti journalists learned this from representatives of law enforcement agencies.
It is noted that heavy snowfalls had come to the city earlier. Because of them, the city had an unfavorable traffic jam situation, which was given a rating of 8 points.
The city experienced low temperatures and strong gusty winds.
As a result, the roof collapsed on Yeniseyskaya Street, where Taxi Park No. 3 was located. The cars parked there were buried underneath.
As law enforcement officers found out, at least 7 vehicles were damaged. There were no casualties among the city residents, experts are establishing the exact cause of the incident.
It is specified that the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Omsk Region warned about the unfavorable situation in the city. In particular, the department did not rule out that the rampant bad weather could end with damage to power lines, as well as the tearing off of roofing materials from the roofs of buildings and structures in Omsk.
