Law enforcement officers interrogated the woman arrested in connection with the case of a scam involving the property and savings of singer Larisa Dolina.

The courier of the fraudsters, 53-year-old Angela Ts., claims that she herself became a victim of deception. She claims that the scammers used her "in the dark".

The details were revealed by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, on Telegram.

The woman told investigators that it all started with a phone call. An unknown person introduced himself as a law enforcement officer.

Later, other strangers called, claiming to represent the FSB.

The Russian woman believed them when the attackers began to provide detailed information about her and her children. Then the doubts disappeared and the woman believed that she was really talking to law enforcement officers.

Then the scammers moved on to the second part of the plan. They called the woman and told her that she needed to meet a famous person.

The scammers said that Larisa Dolina allegedly had some financial difficulties and that an investigation was being conducted.

But the scammers added that the operation is being conducted behind closed doors, and the operatives are allegedly trying not to involve other agencies.

“And since you are a neutral person, we don’t want to [take] anyone from work, because this closed investigation is being conducted,” Angela Ts. reported the words of the scammers.

The scammers convinced the Russian woman to meet Dolina and pick up the package. The woman did all of this and the scammers moved on to the third stage.

With its help, they received money, including using cryptocurrency transfers. Dolina lost 200 million rubles, and Angela Ts. was detained on August 13 and sent to custody. She appealed the decision to arrest.
