Two trucks collide on highway in Primorye, there are casualties
A major accident involving two heavy trucks occurred in Primorye.
People were injured as a result of the collision between the trucks.
The Primorsky prosecutor's office reported on the incident on the A-370 "Ussuri" highway on its Telegram channel.
According to the agency, the incident occurred at around 18:00 local time (11:00 Moscow time).
As law enforcement officers found out, a Volvo truck was moving along the highway, transporting rocky soil.
The truck's brakes turned out to be faulty, causing the driver to collide with another truck and overturn.
As a result, a collision occurred with two other passenger cars moving along the road.
At the moment, there are two known victims who received bodily injuries as a result of the accident.
Traffic on the highway was difficult after the accident, but it has now been fully restored.
It is noted that the prosecutor's office will assess the incident and draw conclusions about compensation for damage to victims and road infrastructure.
