There are situations when you need to quickly dry your laundry after washing, but there is no way to use a dryer or hang it outside.
In this case, you can use one of the following methods.
The washing machine not only cleans the laundry from dirt, but also removes excess moisture from it. Select the maximum spin mode and run it for a few minutes. This will help dry the laundry for several hours.
These devices create a flow of hot or cold air, which accelerates the evaporation of moisture from the fabric.
Hang the laundry on a drying rack or on a line and direct the air stream at it. Do not hold the appliance too close to the fabric to avoid damaging it or causing a fire.
This method is suitable for light and thin fabrics that can be ironed.
Iron damp linen on all sides and repeat after 10 minutes. Do not use an iron on wool, synthetic or lace items.
If you have an air conditioner, you can use it to dry your clothes. Turn it on to heat or cool and hang your clothes on the drying rack or on a line next to it.
The air conditioner will supply dry air, which will absorb moisture from the fabric.
This method is only suitable for small items such as socks, panties or bras. Wrap them in a paper towel and put them in the microwave for 15-30 seconds. Check if they are overheated and repeat if necessary.
This method is suitable for larger items such as T-shirts, shirts or jeans. Pre-ironed them and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Turn on the oven to the minimum temperature (no more than 50 degrees) and place the baking tray on the bottom shelf. Leave the linen in the oven for 10-15 minutes, checking it periodically.
Using these life hacks, you can quickly dry your laundry after washing at home.
But remember that not all fabrics are suitable for these methods, and always read the recommendations on the product label.
Also, do not forget about safety and do not leave operating devices unattended.
