Proper floor care in your home is an important aspect of maintaining cleanliness and creating a cozy atmosphere.
But how often should you wash your floor and what products should you use to achieve the perfect shine?
We'll share expert tips and advice on how to care for your home's floors, and effective ways to add products to water for brilliant results.
Cleaning experts agree that you should mop your floors at least once a week. It is especially important to wet clean rooms where water drops or spills often remain, such as the bathroom and kitchen.
However, the type of flooring also plays a role in determining how often you need to clean it. Tile requires more frequent cleaning than laminate because of the dirt and dust that accumulates in the cracks. If you have pets in the house, you need to clean it even more often.
If you don't have any special floor cleaning products, there are affordable and effective alternatives you can use.
One of them is vinegar, which is great for killing bacteria and adding shine to tiles and laminate.
To prepare the solution, simply add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to 5 liters of water.
Another option is to use shampoo or dishwashing detergent, which have similar properties to floor cleaners. Baking soda is also a great floor cleaner.
In a five-liter bucket of hot water, thoroughly mix 50 grams of soda. The resulting soda solution can be used to wash floors.
It is important to remember that regularly changing bed linen and frequently changing pillowcases also helps to maintain cleanliness in the house.
Disinfection and cleaning of sinks should be done daily, even if they look clean. Kitchen towels should be changed 1-2 times a week.
Vacuuming should be done as needed; if there is no heavy contamination, cleaning can be postponed until the following week.
