No Household Chemicals: How to Clean a TV Remote in No Time
The TV remote control is one of the fastest-growing items in the home.
Therefore, there is often an urgent need to quickly clean an item from accumulated dirt.
Let's figure out how to do this using available tools.
To get rid of dirt you will need:
- cotton swabs and pads;
- toothpick;
- an alcohol-containing liquid with an alcohol content of at least 40%, such as cologne;
- rag.
It is not recommended to use household chemicals in the case of the remote control, as they can corrode the contacts. But alcohol-containing liquids evaporate quickly, and therefore will not have time to harm the device.
First, wipe the entire item with a pad soaked in alcohol, changing it as it gets dirty.
Clean the space between the buttons using cotton swabs soaked in the same liquid.
If after this procedure the device is still dirty, then use toothpicks: use them to remove dirt from the cracks around the buttons.
